UDMWW

Here's how you can help:

Please list up to five place, people or events that you feel MUST be included in any historical survey of life in the University District.

Write about any memorable and meaningful experience you have had on the Ave, or in the Greater University District. Please keep it clean—this project is family-friendly! Did you participate in a historic rally, march or protest? Did you build a business in the neighborhood? Work on an art project? Do you know of a secret underground something, or an overlooked, underappreciated spot that could ONLY be in the University District?

Do you have photos? Simply scan and send related images. Please give all known details, such as exact location, dates and names of those depicted.  Include photographer credits, when known.

Other historical ephemerae is welcome. Feel free to scan and send ticket stubs, news clippings, etc. for consideration. If you have an archive of historic publications or photographs that we should know about, please tell us about them!
